The B&B Mariposas Gavoi is built in a building of the late nineteenth century, completely restored, in the charming historic center of the mountain village of Gavoi, and is a typical example being characterized, moreover, by the square granite stone masonry and wooden balconies typical of the architecture of the centers of Barbagia.
The property is only 20 meters from the church of San Antioco (XV century), 100 meters from the church of Carmelo (mid-seventeenth century), 150 meters from the Church of San Giovanni Battista, 200 meters from the church of San Gavino (first half of the seventeenth century), 2 km from Lake Gusana, 20 km from the Gennargentu Mountains and 30 km from Nuoro provincial capital.
The rooms, named after the colors of spring (Green, Cyclamen, Cobalt) are spacious, bright and well heated, with systems in accordance with the law and recently built. The structure is accessible to people with reduced or impaired mobility through a panoramic lifting platform from which you can admire, as well as from the windows of the rooms, a suggestive view of the surrounding mountains and the village below.
The B&B has free parking spaces for cars and motorcycles. There is also the possibility to enjoy large common areas: a large courtyard, a solarium, the living area, the TV room and the reading room. The structure is also equipped with internet service. The breakfast buffet includes milk, tea, coffee, cappuccino, yogurt, "hazzau", cakes, typical biscuits, fruit juices, fresh seasonal fruit, jams, honey and toast.
